Our Story

On Board Hospitality Management Group, a beacon of resilience and innovation, was established in 2020 amidst the challenges of COVID-19. The brainchild of Bruce, a seasoned Food & Beverage Director at a Hilton property, and Tiana, his partner in both life and business, On Board was born out of adversity when Bruce found himself jobless due to the pandemic's impact on the hospitality industry. Together, they embarked on a new venture, leveraging their combined expertise to create a unique entity in the hospitality landscape.

Bruce, with his extensive background in catering, and Tiana, with her flair for charcuterie, laid the foundation for what would become a thriving full-service catering and event company. Starting with just two divisions and a team of two, On Board has seen remarkable growth, expanding to include twenty-five dedicated employees and broadening its services to encompass staffing and party rental divisions. This expansion is a testament to the company's commitment to excellence and adaptability in meeting the evolving needs of its clients.

Today, On Board Hospitality Management Group stands as a testament to the power of vision and perseverance, continuously evolving and now venturing into venue management. With a focus on providing exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences, On Board is not just a company; it's a story of turning challenges into opportunities, making it a distinguished name in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill's vibrant hospitality scene.

Chef Bruce brings over 20 years of rich culinary expertise to the table, showcasing a vibrant fusion of flavors and a deep passion for cooking. His journey, which began in the disciplined kitchens of the Navy, has seen him hone his skills across prestigious Marriott Hilton brand hotels and eventually led him to fulfill his dream of owning a restaurant in New York.

 

An adept in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free cooking, Chef Bruce's diverse and ever-evolving menu is a testament to his love for life and his commitment to pleasing every palate.

Tiana Davis is a skilled and passionate culinary professional, who specializes in charcuterie and cheese boards. Growing up in a family of food enthusiasts, she developed a love for the art of food at a young age.

Tiana is the co-founder and owner of On Board Hospitality Management Group, a company that offers a wide variety of charcuterie and cheese boards, as well as individual charcuterie and cheese products as well as full-service catering. She believes that food should not only be delicious but also visually appealing, that's why all her boards are carefully curated to create a balance of flavors, textures, and colors.
